Leeds Older People’s Forum is really concerned that older people in our city are going to miss out on the Winter Fuel Payment they rely on to stay warm, because they have not yet claimed Pension Credit – a benefit we know is underclaimed by up to £30M a year in Leeds.
Leeds has a fantastic network of community organisations who will guide older people to organisations who can support their claim, which could have significant impact on an already stretched resource.
