Here is a brief selection of our recent work, and what we expect to be doing next month …
May 2021
We continue to work remotely, while supporting frontline practitioners in their Covid response and the preparation for the lifting of lockdown.
Among other activities, we have:
- delivered the May issue of Shine magazine
- worked with The Performance Ensemble and Leeds Museums to develop the Neighbourhood Networks social history project
- delivered a workshop ‘Anti-ageism activism for everyone’ as part of Stronger Together (national co-production festival) to share our Age Proud Leeds work
- worked with Neighbourhood Networks on re-opening plans, and developed a project with 100% Digital Leeds to support Neighbourhood Networks’ ‘re-set’
- shared our expression of interest for the planned Age Proud Leeds Festival
- planned for a micro-grant project for work with older LGBT+ people, to launch in August
- said thank you, good luck and a sad goodbye to our friendly Communities Officer Jude, and began recruitment.
