Bee Together is a Time to Shine Project aiming to combat social isolation and loneliness in Older People with a Learning Disability (OPLD).
The learning from the project so far has been that people want to be involved in their community and to make friends but feel that their learning disabilities can cause a barrier.
Why is this?
Bee Together would like to find out how you – and anyone who works with older people – feel about Older People with a Learning Disability, so that we can help you to help them become more included, less socially isolated and less lonely.
We will be very grateful if you complete this short survey, by June 24th
Please be honest. This is a fact-finding survey; we want to know the real reasons so we can begin to tackle them and move forward.
Bee Together is one of very few Ageing Better projects in the UK (funded by The National Lottery Community Fund) looking at Older People with a Learning Disability, so the learning we gather will be vital to improve lives across the country.
If you have any questions about the survey or the Bee Together Project, please contact Anna-Marie Garbutt.
Thank you.
