May 1, Bramley Community Centre, 2.00-4.00
Following conversations at the Spring network meeting the next Time to Learn session will look at the idea of ‘mini mixers’ – small groups used as a bridge to getting people into larger groups or other social activities, or maybe just helping them make friends near home. Some people are already trying it. Others are not sure if it can work for them and there are some anxieties about encouraging people to meet in each other’s homes.
This will be a chance to get together, consider the issues and think about whether and how it might work for your organisation.
Time to Learn sessions are open to anyone, staff or volunteers, with an interest in the topic. They play an important role in sharing important learning from Time to Shine projects, help to build capacity in organisations, and develop a lasting legacy form the Time to Shine programme. Time to Learn sessions are free, but please register to book your place.
