It’s hard to believe we’re already up to Round Seven of our Small Funds project! The Small Funds give local organisations a chance to try something new on a small scale, all feeding in to how we learn about addressing loneliness and social isolation in Leeds.
Most of the previous rounds have had a theme, focussing on a particular group or issue: e.g. men, dementia, transport. This round was left completely wide open so that organisations can be as creative as they want to be.
In this round we’ve got a scheme that will help people experiencing vision loss get where they need to be, a project to help people regain the power of speech, taster sessions for bibliotherapy (read here to find out what that means) and more!
Take a look at all the projects, and get in touch if you want to get involved!
