You heard right! We’ve commissioned 11 new Time to Shine projects this year, and one of them is “In Mature Company,” delivered by our returning partner Yorkshire Dance.

Yorkshire Dance led on the very successful Young At Arts project from our first round, and they will be taking some of what they learned from that project into nine care homes around Leeds.

A new team of artists will deliver a variety of sessions in the care homes, including dance, storytelling and singing. As they go along, they will observe what is effective in reducing people’s feelings of isolation and loneliness so this information can be reported back to funders and policymakers.

Families, friends, and volunteers will be encouraged to join in and support the work.
