Centre for Ageing Better, as part of our review with Government, is looking for examples of inspiring practice that support more people in later life to make a contribution in their community.

We particularly want to understand how to increase participation among underrepresented groups, including people on lower incomes and those in poor health/living with long term health conditions.

If you are doing great work and want to influence Government please respond to our Call for Practice.  Examples might be on:

• Collaboration among organisations to create shared infrastructure to support volunteering  
• Practice which supports volunteers to find the right opportunities for them
• Initiatives to reduce barriers to volunteering practical support to enable informal forms of volunteering such as helping out / neighbourliness
