Job Role: Community Engagement Worker
Salary: £20,209.63
Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 30 Months (Including 6 months’ probation period)
Annual Leave: 28 Days plus 8 Public Holidays
Pension: Nest Pension Scheme 2.5%
Hours per week: 37 hrs

The “Don’t call me old Project” is a new created exciting and innovative project working with People living within the Armley & Wortley district of Leeds 12.The project ambition is to develop inclusive services that reflect the aspirations and needs of people aged between 50 to 70. 

The Community Engagement Worker role will be to develop inclusive services that reflect the aspirations and needs of people aged between 50 to 70 and to learn what will prevent them from becoming socially isolated as they get older.  The project will be responsive in supporting individuals to engage within their local community and pursuing individual’s personal goals, in line with their choice and preferences and in ways which are socially inclusive and promotes independence.

This project has three years of funding until March 2021.

The closing date is Friday 18th May 2018 at 12 noon.

Interviews will be held on Friday 1st June 2018.
