Older People’s Programme Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and creative individual to develop our newly formed Older People’s Programme at West Yorkshire Playhouse.
Building on the long-running success of Heydays (a weekly project for people aged 55+ which currently has over 250 members) and our pioneering work for people living with dementia, the new Older People’s Programme Manager will bring their vision and skills to benefit older people throughout the Playhouse’s redevelopment period and beyond.
The post-holder will have solid experience of working with older people, project management skills as well as a strong track record in engaging older people in creative arts activities. The role is a key Head of Department in the award-winning Creative Engagement team and will manage freelance artists and support staff, as well as working closely with our Theatre and Dementia Research Associate, to ensure that all the work is of the highest quality and the high profile of the programme is maintained.
