If you’ve got an idea about how to foster relationships between older people who are socially isolated, Time to Shine has funding available to help. 

Small Funds, delivered by Leeds Community Foundation, supports innovative short-term projects all over Leeds. Awards are between £5,000 and £10,000 and should be spent within twelve months.  

Each round of funding has a different theme. So far we have focused on Dementia & Carers, Men, and Communication. The fourth round will look at Relationships: strengthening existing relationships or fostering opportunities to form new ones.  

The deadline for applications is 12noon on Wednesday 10 May 2017, with a view to distributing funds to successful candidates by June 2017.
